One of Queensland’s most remarkable private residences, among the most ambitious homes ever built in Australia, has hit the Gold Coast market.
AFL Star Turned Tech Entrepreneur Brad Moran Lists Ultra Luxury Gold Coast Compound

Located in the Gold Coast hinterland, The Estate is carved into the mountainside high above Tallai, commanding more than 16km of uninterrupted coastline and skyline views stretching to the Pacific Ocean.

The auspicious 8,888sqm property comprises 10 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, and 13 car spaces, anchored by a 2,240sqm main residence spanning three levels with distinct living, entertaining, and wellness wings. The estate also features three self-contained guest houses, an outdoor fun park with a 110m go-kart track, golf driving range, and basketball court, all connected by a 600m private golf-buggy track.

Owner Brad Moran, a former AFL player turned award-winning tech entrepreneur and founder of retail media platform CitrusAd, later acquired by Publicis Groupe for a reported $205 million, purchased the property in 2021 and has since spent four years completely transforming it.

“When I first bought the property, it had scale but lacked cohesion and elements that I would consider modern day ultra luxury,” says Brad. “I lived in it to understand how it moved and breathed, what I liked, didn’t, and how I would improve it. What began as a renovation became a complete rebuild, I wanted to push every boundary of what was possible.”

A 75,000 hand-laid cobblestone driveway leads to the dramatic Elemental Fountain, where fire and water intertwine around a Dragon Tree, a sculptural centrepiece symbolising strength and renewal.

Framing the arrival, an 11-metre green wall brings the façade to life with tropical and native plant species. Together, the living greenery, stonework, and reflective water create a striking arrival sequence that balances engineering precision with natural beauty. Beyond a 10-metre glass façade, facial recognition entry and a 24-carat gold-infused fountain open to the home’s grand interior.

Inside, The Estate features a Manhattan inspired whisky bar, 16-seat cinema, private poker room, and a wellness wing comprising a gym, yoga studio, infrared sauna, a 14-seat aroma infused steam room, and dual hydrotherapy pools. The professional kitchen showcases Calacatta Viola marble, a natural copper range hood, and custom cabinetry.

The master retreat boasts six-metre ceilings, a retractable remote control roof, private balconies, and an ensuite adorned with 65,000 custom Bisazza mosaics. Outdoors, the 18-metre heated infinity pool, finished in black and 24 carat gold Bisazza tiles, overlooks the city skyline.

“It was never about luxury for its own sake,” Brad says. “Every space had to have its own unique experience, something worth talking about, whether it’s architecture, technology, materials or just enjoying the view.”

Kollosche agents Michael Kollosche and Jamie Harrison are leading a five-week global auction campaign, with international interest anticipated.

Michael says The Estate stood among the most significant private homes ever offered to the Queensland market.

“This is not just a home, it’s an architectural statement of precision and passion,” says Michael. “The owner’s meticulous eye for detail and commitment to excellence are unmatched. Every element has been executed to perfection, creating a residence that sets a new benchmark for luxury living in Queensland. It’s a property you need to walk through to fully appreciate.”

Within 15 minutes of Broadbeach, 11 minutes of Robina Town Centre, and 25 minutes of Gold Coast Airport, The Estate offers absolute privacy and convenience.

The property, located at 160 Tallai Road, Tallai, is scheduled for private auction on Friday 28 November.
