Heart and Soul

For Tommy Chappell, real estate is more than a job. It’s a way to connect with people and give back to a community.
That community is Palm Beach, an area in which Tommy lives and has focused his attention since joining the ranks of Kollosche as a Licensed Sales Agent.
Despite growing up in Tweed Heads, Tommy says Palm Beach has always “felt like home”.
“It’s where I found my footing and where I want to make a difference, not just by selling homes but by giving something positive back to the people who live there.
“I want to service the northern end of Palm Beach with energy, expertise and heart.”
And there is no better way to achieve this, says Tommy, who has seven years’ real estate experience under his belt, than by working under the Kollosche brand.
“Kollosche stands for the same values with which I am aligned – culture, collaboration and community. It’s about being part of something bigger.”
While Tommy has found success in his career, things haven’t always been easy. He speaks candidly about a past shaped by hardship and an absence of role models. Lacking early guidance, Tommy says he left school early and made choices that led him down difficult paths. Eventually, a series of life-changing events gave him the clarity to change direction.
“I didn’t have anyone showing me the right way when I was young,” he says.
“It took hitting a few walls before I realised I needed to take ownership of my future. I invested in mentors, coaching, wellness, and started putting structure into my life. That shift changed everything.”
Having found his stride through discipline and purpose, Tommy is determined to be a role model for young men, particularly in Palm Beach, who may be facing the same crossroads he once did.
This deep sense of empathy also defines how Tommy approaches his clients.
“I am a firm believer in showing up for people long before they might list with me; take buyers, for example. Few agents really service buyers well, but today’s buyer is tomorrow’s seller, and I am happy to go the extra mile for both.
“It’s about building trusted relationships, offering advice, and creating connection, even if there is no immediate outcome.”
Rather than chase quick wins, Tommy is invested in building long-term relationships, believing the best business comes from doing the right thing consistently. His focus is on earning trust through consistency and high-level customer service.
“I want people to feel looked after, like they’ve got someone in their corner who genuinely cares,” he says.
Tommy’s enthusiasm and commitment to his clients extends to the wider Palm Beach community, in which he hopes to champion initiatives and youth outreach programs through the support of Kollosche and its Community Fund.
Tommy’s commitment to serving his clients and the community is truly genuine and he brings a sense of authenticity and unrivalled energy to every interaction – be they professional or personal.
