Tapping Into Team Spirit

It was meant to be a two-year break – a chance to travel, explore the world, and work out what came next.
But when Nikolas Kuth, who has recently joined Kollosche as a Licensed Sales Agent, landed in London in 2005 with a backpack and a vague plan, it placed him on a path that shaped the next two decades of his life.
“When I left Brisbane I was planning to see a bit of the world before settling into a career,” Nikolas says.
“London was the first stop, but I ran out of money within six weeks, so I needed a job. I met a guy in real estate who suggested I become an agent, because I enjoy talking to people. After one interview I was offered a job and that was that.”
The job was with UK estate agency Foxtons, known for its high-performance, high-volume environment, and collaborative culture. Nikolas quickly moved through the ranks, which was no mean feat in a city where more than 100 agencies are operating within one postcode. During his time there he managed 160 staff and oversaw everything from business development to photography and referrals. Over 20 years, Nikolas helped to build the Foxtons brand into one of the most successful in the UK.
“The London market taught me how to operate under pressure, think strategically, and genuinely add value in a crowded space,” Nikolas says.
A strong mentor and collaborative internal environment were significant contributors to his development.
“We were genuinely motivated by each other’s success,” Nikolas says. “We celebrated each other’s wins, because those results told the story of what we could achieve together.”
Collaboration and strong leadership are what brought Nikolas to Kollosche’s door when he recently made the decision to move to the Gold Coast.
“I explored quite a few agencies,” Nikolas says. “Kollosche stood out, not just for its brand, but the leadership. You can tell a lot about an organisation by the calibre of people at the top and there is a genuine team dynamic here, without ego.”
Nikolas sees Kollosche’s collaborative, client-focused model as major differentiators.
“When agents compete against each other in silos, it doesn’t benefit the client. I love that Kollosche encourages us to work across listings and share buyers to achieve stronger outcomes together. That approach is exactly what I have come from and it’s why I chose to be here.”
Based in Robina, where his two children attend school, Nikolas is embracing the lifestyle with drive and commitment, throwing himself into community sporting groups and the general coastal lifestyle.
“I wanted my kids to grow up with what I had in Australia,” he says, “but I’m not one to sit still. I’m here to build something long-term and bring the same service level and strategic mindset to my clients here.”
Nikolas is especially excited about the growth potential he sees within Robina, his area of focus. “If you look at the price points of the surrounding suburbs, they’ve all jumped. Robina is still relatively affordable, yet it has everything you need: infrastructure, schools, shopping, rail, and now the Greenheart precinct, of which Stage 1 has already been completed.
“For buyers priced out of beachside areas, it’s incredibly attractive and for sellers, there’s real upside.”
Whether it is leading teams or negotiating property deals, Nikolas brings a considered, energetic presence to every arena he enters.
“My approach has always been based on three things: knowledge, work ethic, and personability,” he says. “People want to know you care, and have the skill to get the job done. That’s what I aim to deliver to clients – every time.”
