Shane Smollen is Managing Partner Kollosche, working collaboratively with agency founder Michael Kollosche to lead the business and shape the company’s strategic growth.

Backed by decades of experience in the real estate industry, Shane has a reputation for being one of Australia’s most respected leaders and mentors.

After 15 years in the Gold Coast market, his career took him to Sydney where he led national sales at McGrath, later founding his own network of 11 regional offices, transacting over $3 billion in annual sales. The business was eventually acquired by McGrath in one of the industry’s largest deals.

Alongside his success in real estate, Shane established Sydney-based development company Central Element in 2010. Specialising in high-end residential projects, Central Element has delivered more than 500 apartments and currently manages a $2 billion pipeline across the eastern and northern suburbs. His expertise in premium developments complements Kollosche’s presence in the new projects space on the Gold Coast and enhances its capability in off-the-plan sales.

Outside of real estate, Shane’s passion for high performance extends to the motorsport arena in which he is a seasoned competitor with more than 250 race starts. Currently competing in GT World Australia, he has held multiple national titles, including the Australian GT4 Championship and Carrera Cup Pro-Am. He brings this same level of precision and competitive spirit to his professional pursuits.
