Gain the Market Advantage

As the market correction post-pandemic continues, the importance of placing your asset with the right agency is crucial to achieving solid results.

Core Logic’s quarterly Pain and Gain report reveals that profit-making sales nationwide dipped slightly in the past quarter, down to 92.3 per cent compared with 94.2 per cent at the same time last year.

Analysts put the dip down to buyers who purchased at the height of the pandemic choosing to return to market, rather than face the potential of spiraling mortgage repayments.

While the Gold Coast market is not impervious to the effects of interest rate rises, a report by property settlement company PEXA this week revealed that the region has the highest level of cash purchases than anywhere else in the country.

Cash may be king, but today’s buyers continue to be highly discerning about their real estate purchases. As a seller, choosing an agency that knows and understands the market is key to achieving the best possible price under the current market conditions.
