In what was a fantastic show of community generosity, the Kollosche People’s Ball exceeded its goal of raising $1,000,000 for Serving Our People.
Gala Event is a Huge Success

Kollosche has raised a phenomenal $1,040,000 for local charity Serving Our People at its annual gala event – the Kollosche People’s Ball.

Now in its fourth year, the Ball is fast becoming one of the biggest events on the Gold Coast social calendar. This year it drew more than 1,000 people to The Star Casino to help raise funds for Gold Coast charity Serving Our People (SOP).

Attendees donated generously and bid competitively throughout the evening on quality auction items and experiences, including spending an evening with Ndaba Mandela, Nelson Mandela’s grandson and the keynote speaker at the event.

All monies raised will go towards various SOP initiatives that assist the most vulnerable within our community.

Kollosche is proud to be a major sponsor of SOP, which is one of the country’s fastest-growing charities that works to provide food, shelter and aid to people in need across the Gold Coast and Logan communities.

“We are extremely proud to throw our support behind Serving Our People for the fourth year running, for the gala and also behind the scenes to help in any way we can.

“We are grateful for this platform to give back to our local community. We believe there is immense power in the simple act of helping another in need and as a community we should be measured by how we support the sick, the vulnerable, the homeless and those who have fallen on hard times.”

Kollosche would like to extend a genuine and heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, donated and contributed to making the event a resounding success. A special thank you to keynote speaker Ndaba Mandela (grandson of Nelson Mandela), and the entire SOP team.
