Records continue to soar on the Gold Coast iconic beachfront

A prime holding on the prestigious Multi-Millionaires row with 22 meters of Mermaid Beachfront has sold at the highest record price per square meter.

139-141 Hedges Avenue, Mermaid Beach, a 900m2 plot on a commanding corner position sold for a massive $17,500,000 in a deal by Michael Kollosche, Troy Dowker and Harry Kakavas.

Michael Kollosche spoke about the recent sale;

“A fantastic result, the highest price per square meter for the Mermaid beachfront to date. I think there have been some really strong sales for us across the board this year,” said Michael.

According to CoreLogic data, the suburb continues to see high demand and record growth, with last quarter hitting just shy of 20 percent annual growth.

Hedges Avenues popular holdings continue to be snatched up with a two-story beachfront residence at 127 Hedges Avenue, selling last month for $15,600,000 in an off-market deal by Michael Kollosche.

More sales along the beachfront avenue by Michael Kollosche and Ryan Ward saw adjoining 405m2 lots 95-97 Hedges Avenue sell collectively for $15,500,000 while the pair contracted 159 Hedges Avenue in January for $15,750,000.
