A series of extraordinary estates hidden among the trees in Tallebudgera Valley are placing this usually quiet hinterland suburb firmly on the map.

The leafy pocket of 500 homes, according to CoreLogic, grabbed headlines in December 2023 with the sale of ‘Dahlia Estate’, a 2.19-hectare property crowned by a unique architect-designed residence.

A Kollosche-led auction campaign attracted widespread interest, with the $11,200,000 sales result breaking the suburb price record by a whopping $7,000,000.

Another property sure to cause a stir is 697 Tallebudgera Creek Road. The 1.6-hectare acreage is crowned by a stunning two-storey residence fusing Mediterranean and Florida-style architecture.

The residence offers a truly inspirational lifestyle, counting among its features a dedicated helipad, wellness centre, 25-metre swimming pool, three-par golf course, championship-size tennis court, car showroom and a commercial-grade kitchen.

Marketed by agents Troy Dowker and Michael Kollosche, the residence is set to go to auction on-site on 19 April at 11am.

Prices in Tallebudgera Valley have been rising rapidly over the past five years, with CoreLogic data revealing 89.3 per cent price growth over the period, with the median house price sitting at $1,912,000.

This places it No.7 on a list of top 10 suburbs for price growth over the period, joining more high-profile beachfront suburbs of Palm Beach, Miami and Mermaid Waters.

Located in a valley setting at the back of Tallebudgera Beach, the ‘Talle Valley’ landscape is dominated by lush farmland and natural forest at the foot of the McPherson Range.

Its peaceful setting is a major draw for many who choose to buy in the suburb, with residents enjoying absolute privacy, while still being a short 10-minute drive from the bustling hub and world-renowned beaches of Burleigh Heads.

Others are drawn by the value for money and extended space offered by its multiple acreage-size estates where owners can build their ultimate dream home.
