This elegant Main River mansion in Broadbeach remains one of the Gold Coast’s most admired homes. Featuring as a backdrop for several TV series and Hollywood films, its grand looks made it the most-viewed property in Queensland within days of being listed.
Kollosche Sales Associate Jay Helprin, who marketed the property with Kollosche Principal Michael Kollosche, recalls: “There was quite a lot of interest in the home, locally and even from international buyers. Trophy assets such as this are very tightly held, so when they do come up, they draw a lot of attention.”
Sold for $11,600,000 prior to auction, the sale was an emotional one for the then owners, who had lived in the home for more than 25 years, raising their four daughters there.
The traditional six-bedroom manor sits on a 2,411m2 double block with 39m river frontage and features a grand circular driveway, mahogany floors, chandeliers and French double doors.
